Why April is the best month of the year!

 

April….. It’s probably one of the best month’s out of the whole year! 

The weather begins changing, and let’s face it. No matter where you live, coming off of the cold months, it feels good to have the sun on your face, see flowers everywhere you go, and know that a vacation is on the horizon. 

But the best time to start a plan to be ‘summer ready’ is right now!

Now that you’re ready to look and feel good, here are a few suggestions to consider before getting started; 

Goal

 Make sure you set a goal. Alot of people underestimate the power of a setting a goal. This will set you up for success and be a continuous motivator for you. 

 

Accountability 

Sometime we all need that little bit of extra help and support to keep us motivated. Accountability plays a very key factor when it comes down to our diet and fitness. See if you have a friend who want to get involved so you can be accountable to each other. Share your goals with them so they know what you are working towards. If you don’t have anyone to be accountable to the you can always join our ‘Simple Fat Loss’ Group HERE on Facebook, where you will find like-minded people all working towards their fitness and diet goals. 

 

Be Organised 

Work out the days you are going to workout, make sure it fits with your lifestyle and you aren’t going to find excuses why you cant do it. The main difference between a wish and an objective it is that you have specific times planned.

 

Be Motivated 

Think of the outcome you would like to achieve. For example if you would like to drop a dress or jean size then go out and buy that dress or pair of jeans. Put them somewhere so you see them every day, they will give you the motivation to get to the gym, go for a run, swim or Bootcamp session. 

 

Mindset

Stay positive throughout the process and really encourage yourself. Is it the end of the world if you have a bad day eating Pizza and ice-cream? The answer is No, not if you can pick yourself up and get back on track. We all have our off days and you should kick yourself about them. One bad day will not destroy 10 good.
