My journey began like many others, I was heavily obese with a food & drink problem. Ive since lost 7 stone; competed in many obstacle course runs, running clubs & cycling events. I love to inspire, motivate & help others to achieve their goals.

Teaching Yoga and learning from my students is what my life is all about. I used to practice Yoga every morning as a child, and now I use my practice to keep a clear mind, and healthy body, and to focus on self acceptance. By including Yoga practice in my lifestyle, I have noticed a definite increase in emotional balance. Physically Yoga has helped me overcome my back pain, stiff hips, and tight shoulders, and my core strength has improved my life to no end. After qualifying to teach in 2007 I opened my own little Yoga studio in Cape Town, which was very successful, but we decided to settle in the UK in 2009, so I sadly had to close up shop. Luckily I was given the chance to join the Fitness Flex team as a Yoga teacher, sharing my love for relaxation, proper breathing techniques, and to share the benefits of Yoga practice that have improved my life to such an extent that I decided to make a career of it.

As a passionate Certified Personal Trainer, my role is to motivate, enable and make training a fun and rewarding experience. I love to see my clients achieve their personal health and fitness goals, through a tailored approach of regular fitness activities and guided fitness programs. Life is an adventure, filled with continual improvement and achievable goals – no matter how big or small!!
